Hayes (Kent) Village Association Newsletter

ISSUE 17: 15 APRIL 2024
Dear reader,
I apologies that the links to the full articles were not working. This has been corrected.
Welcome to this issue of the newsletter. We have changed the design to make it easier for you to print.
Sadly we have learned that following a long illness Alan Williams passed away last Saturday. He was Chairman of the Hayes Village Association, Hayes Fair, Hayes Village Hall and Hayes Christmas Lights. In all ways, he was a consummate community supporter. He will be sadly missed.
This week we highlight the closure of two NatWest branches. There will be no bank branches in Hayes or West Wickham. Local councillors have applied to open a Banking Hub in Hayes. We hope that the application will be approved.
You may have seen a poll on our Facebook group asking for your view on holding a public meeting focussed on law & order in the ward. Please go and vote if you have not done so.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please do contact me.
