THE HAYES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS COMMITTEE are proud to present the BLUE BOW project.
The idea of showing our support to the NHS and KEY WORKERS came from a local resident of Hayes, Katie Clark, who came to us and requested blue bows as we have at Christmas on the Tree.
With the full support of the London Borough of Bromley, we will be tying the bows on public and council-owned property in Station Approach and Hayes Street.
We would like to give our Hayes community the opportunity to purchase a bow for a donation. All proceeds will be given to The Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough, Kent. The more bows donated by residents, the more Hayes will show our thanks and our spirit within our community.
To make a donation and/or purchase a blue bow, please find us online at
The HAYES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS COMMITTEE DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FUNDs, and we are unable to host fundraising events during this COVID – 19 pandemic. With our 2020 Christmas Lights in uncertainty, the BLUE BOWS will provide a welcoming decoration in our area during this time.
We have received support and donations to start this project from
- Hayes Lights Committee members
- Hayes Village Association
- Members of the Hayes (Kent) Village Hall
- The New Inn
- Hayes Tugra Turkish Restaurant Hayes
Thank you all for your much-appreciated support.
